The Kennebunk, Kennebunkport & Wells Water District is currently seeking a Full-Time Technical Services Manager to join our team.

 

This person will be responsible for:

  • Designing infrastructure related to the supply, treatment, distribution and storage of Water District projects
  • Acting as a liaison to outside entities engaged in the design and construction of non-District related system improvements
  • Supervising up to 3 employees
  • Providing project level supervision for those involved in the inspection, testing and coordination of District and outside construction projects.

Minimum knowledge and skills required:

  • Knowledge of engineering equivalent to the completion of a Bachelor’s degree and five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of civil/water works engineering, including methods and techniques applied to the construction and maintenance of water utility infrastructure
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and the use of GIS is preferred
  • Successful passing of the Class IV Water System Operator’s License test within 24 months from
