Fall flushing for 2014 is now complete.
Yesterday we were only able to flush 12 hydrants due to the heavy rain. Today the flushing crew will start at the Wells/Kennebunk town line and head south on Route 1 to about Stephen Eaton Lane including all side streets.
Yesterday we flushed 26 hydrants. Today we will be finishing Biddeford Pool then head to Wells starting at the Wells/Kennebunk town line heading south on Route 1.
26 hydrants were flushed yesterday. Today we will be finishing Fortunes Rocks Road back to Granite Point then starting on Mile Stretch Road through Biddeford Pool.
Yesterday we flushed 36 hydrants. Today we will be working through Goose Rocks Beach and the Granite Point area. Then we will jump over to Bridge Road and work towards Fortunes Rocks Road.
On Friday we were able to flush 26 hydrants. Today we will be working on Turbats Creek Road, Ocean Ave., Langsford Road and starting Mills Road.
A total of 29 hydrantswere flushed yesterday. Today we will be working in Kennebunkport on School Street and Wildes District Road from the Crow Hill Tank to Main Street Kennebunkport including all side streets.
24 hydrants were flushed yesterday. Today we will work in the Ocean Ave, Main Street and South Main Street area out to Walker’s Point.
Yesterday we finished flushing Kennebunk. Today we will start on River Road in Arundel working to North Street and then to Dock Square starting down Ocean Ave.
Yesterday we flushed 30 hydrants. Today we will finish the Merrifield Drive neighborhood. Then they will head north on Route 1 into Arundel and Ross Road to Fletcher Street.
Friday we flushed 31 hydrants. Today we will start on Fletcher Street at Route 1 working towards the intersection of Ross Road. We will then start at Hope Cemetery off of Route 1 towards Hannaford and through the Merrifield Drive neighborhood.
We were able to flush 32 hydrants yesterday. Today we’ll finish up Boothby Road and around the beach towards Sea Road. Then they will jump over to Storer Street and Route 1 and work towards the rotary including side streets.
Yesterday we flushed 16 hydrants. Today we’ll finish up Western Ave and then head down Beach Street.
Yesterday morning we conducted flushing demos for the 2nd grade tours. We then flushed 15 hydrants. Today they will finish up upper Sea Road. Then continue down Western Ave towards Beach Street.
We flushed 37 hydrants yesterday. Today we will be starting in the Woodside Drive development working east on Sea Road towards Western Ave.
24 hydrants were flushed Friday. Today we’ll finish up the end of Port Road towards the Western Ave area. Then start on Sea Road at the Summer Street end.
We ended up flushing 25 hydrants yesterday. Today they will finish up the beginning of Summer Street and Depot Street area. Then continue down Port Road towards the Western Ave area.
37 hydrants were flushed yesterday. Today we will start at the southbound turnpike entrance and finish Alewive Road. Then we’ll continue to Fletcher Street and Storer Street. We hope to end today on Summer Street around the Depot Street intersection.
Yesterday we were able to flush 42 hydrants. Today we plan to finish Mill Street (Channel Cove) and upper Alfred Road. We will then flush the upper Cat Mousam Road (Coventry Woods) area, then start at West Kennebunk Tank working north on Alewive Road.
We had a great first day of flushing yesterday. We flushed 47 hydrants ending at the beginning of Cat Mousam Road. Today we plan to flush the rest of Cat Mousam Road, Brown Street, Alfred Road and Mill Street areas.
